ABOUT FUNNY COAST COMEDY
Funny Coast Comedy was established in 2020 - our vision was to bring a little FUNNY to the SUNNY Coast (haha... get it?) - and bring world-class comedy shows to our community, in smaller, more intimate settings than what you might find in our region's theatres.
Now in our 5th year, we've produced hundreds of shows from Noosa into the Hinterland and down to Caloundra and in 2025 we ventured interstate and produced shows at Perth Fringe World, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, as well as tours all over the country.
2025 also saw the first ever Funny Coast Comedy BIG Weekend - a big FIVE day comedy festival featuring world-class comedians including Troy Kinne, Bron Lewis, Rory Lowe, Jacques Barrett, Ting Lim and loads more. Look out for the BIG Weekend 2026, which is sure to be even BIGGER.
Here on the coast we also offer comedy workshops and public speaking coaching, we provide comedians and MCs for your corporate events, work parties, charity & fundraising events & heaps more!

Nicky was a regular on the stand-up circuit in the UK after reaching the finals of prestigious comedy competitions ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ and ‘New Act of the Year’ in 2013, and now lives in Australia. She has a warm, likeable, down-to-earth style of comedy that instantly puts audiences at ease.
In 2022, she was selected by Mary Tobin to be a part of the hugely popular 'Best of the Edinburgh Fest' show at both Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Nicky is also one half of multi-award-winning physical comedy duo, The Kagools.
